Overview
Cal Reiet is a unique country hideaway with the authenticity of a home away from home atmosphere. Set in beautifully lush Mediterranean gardens, an oasis ripe with scents of the earth, sea and sun and an ideal setting for the communion of mind, body and spirit. This is Cal Reiet, a holistic wellbeing retreat and boutique lifestyle hotel featuring 15 beautifully designed rooms and suites.
The breakfast and dining area by the pool offers healthy, delicious and fresh buffet style vegetarian cuisine. Cal Reiet procures locally and organically sourced ingredients wherever possible, and the food and ingredients change with the seasons. Different months bring different delights to the table.
Culinary workshops covering raw, vegan and vegetarian cooking classes are run in the open kitchen in the main house.
The yoga shala is a space for peace and quiet contemplation and meditation. Classes are offered both on an individual basis and for groups, as well as international teachers hosting yoga retreats and other holistic wellbeing retreats.
The wellness area includes both a private beauty treatment room and an open air massage area.
The events and meeting facilities can cater for up to approximately 80 people and can be tailored to match your specific needs, whether it be a seminar, corporate event, wedding or any other event.
The 20 metres swimming pool is a real treat, especially on a warm summer’s day, and it is beautifully set amidst the retreat’s lush gardens.
The gym is basic but lacks nothing for a complete workout. It has a cross trainer and is centred on free weights and exercises using your own body weight.
People are at the heart of this retreat. You will find that the whole team at the hotel is devoted to wellbeing. Through different retreats you will be offered individuals tools to explore the connection of body, mind and spirit. The team members at the hotel embrace lifelong learning, and their intention is not to be everything to everyone, but rather, to offer each individual their own space in which to grow.
