Fornalutx is one of our favourite places on the island... This is a small picturesque village in the impressive Tramuntana mountains a few minutes drive from Soller, surrounded by olive, orange and lemon groves. This is an ideal place for a walking holiday if you want to explore Majorca’s highest mountains and sea-facing cliffs or just a peaceful break in a wonderful Mallorcan village. This is also a perfect location if you want to explore the Tramuntana mountains by car, either down south towards Deia or north towards Pollença. There are also a few really nice restaurants in the village, and the larger town of Soller is only minutes away by car if you want more options. Further down from Soller you can also find Puerto Soller with plenty of restaurants and cafes, as well as the beach.
