The municipality of Santa Eugenia is an inland region that basically is flat, nevertheless its territory includes some highly interesting landscape, such as Puig de Sant Eugenia and Son Seguí (320 metres high), carpeted with carefully tended forests and the site of a hermitage with beautiful panoramic views. The taujans, or farmers, in this rustic and charming municipality, still live largely from agriculture, based especially on cereals and wine. Its close location to the capital and the air of tranquillity that characterises the village has made it a favourite area for second homes in recent years.
