Information About Us
The site is operated by Rural Hotels Europe Ltd, trading as Rural Hotels Mallorca, and is a travel adviser and booking agent for a small selection of personally visited hotels in Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza.  We are registered in England under company number 7767795 and have our registered office at 23 Lowther Rd, Brighton, E Sussex BN1 6LF.

In these Terms, “user”, "you" and "your" means any and all persons using this Site. "Principal" means the provider of the accommodation.

Intellectual property
All text, graphics, design and other information found on this website is the intellectual property of Rural Hotels Mallorca. You may not use or reproduce it either in full or in part without written permission.

Links to other Sites
Rural Hotels Mallorca links to third party sites operated by third parties, however, although these links are provided to you we do not endorse these websites and have no responsibility for their content or information they collect from you. Please read their individual terms and conditions documents and make sure you agree before using those sites. You will be bound by their conditions when using their sites.

Booking Terms & Conditions

Contract
We, Rural Hotels Europe Ltd, a UK registered company (see below for contact details), trading as Rural Hotels Mallorca, will act as a web-based booking agent in the booking of your accommodation. Your contract will be with the Accommodation provider (referred to from now on as the "Principal(s)") and their prices and booking conditions will apply. Payment and cancellation policies are detailed both on our website and will also be clearly stated in the booking confirmation email that you receive from us, Rural Hotels Mallorca. All Accommodation sold through us are not offers by us to sell the Accommodation, but an invitation to you to make an offer to the Principals of the Accommodation.

From the point at which you make your reservation, we act solely as an intermediary between you and the Principal, transmitting the details of your reservation to the relevant Principal and sending you a confirmation email for and on behalf of the Principal.

Booking and Payment
Your reservation will become confirmed once you have provided your credit card details, paid any required deposits and received a booking confirmation email from Rural Hotels Mallorca. 
For all reservations confirmed with Rural Hotels Mallorca a deposit will be charged by Rural Hotels Mallorca on behalf of the Principal. In some cases the initial deposit will instead be charged by the Principal, which in this case will be clearly stated in the booking terms.
Any other amounts due from you, other than any cancellation fees collected by us on behalf of any Principal, will be charged directly to you by the Principal concerned. As such, we accept no liability in relation to any contract you enter into or for any services or arrangements you purchase or for the acts or omissions of any Principals or other persons or parties connected with any arrangements. By accepting these terms and conditions you agree that the Principal, or us on the Principal's behalf, can charge your credit card with applicable deposits and that any applicable cancellation charges can be charged to the credit card details provided. Please be aware that your booking may not be secured if you fail to pay the required amounts when they are due.

Credit Cards
In order to make a reservation you are required to provide your credit card details. Your details can be provided over the telephone or online via a secured mode using 256 bit SSL encryption technology. Your details are also provided to the relevant Principal. The payment is then either processed offline by the Principal or a deposit is charged by Rural Hotels Mallorca on behalf of the Principal. Details are at all times handled securely and only for the purposes of confirming reservations, applying refunds or, in the event of no shows or cancellations, applying cancellation charges in accordance with agreed payment and cancellation policies. Secure transactions can be identified by the presence of a closed lock in most browsers. We also employ industry-standard security measures to protect your information from access by unauthorised persons and against unlawful processing.

Booking & Cancellation Policies
All bookings via Rural Hotels Mallorca are subject to the booking conditions of the Principal. The individual booking conditions of each Principal are detailed on our website and are also emailed to you by Rural Hotels Mallorca as part of the booking confirmation. You are responsible for reading the Principal's booking conditions.
In case you wish to cancel your reservation, you must cancel the booking via Rural Hotels Mallorca. Cancellation charges may be payable to the Principal. The amount of such charges will depend on the Principal's cancellation policy and usually varies according to the period of notice given.
In the unlikely event that a Principal needs to cancel or amend a booking it may be able to offer an alternative or provide a refund, depending on its cancellation policy.
We recommend that you take out travel insurance as soon as you have received a booking confirmation email from Rural Hotels Mallorca.

Responsibility for Your Booking
We do not accept responsibility for your direct dealings with the Principals. All Principals featured on Rural Hotels Mallorca are themselves responsible for their terms and conditions of your booking. Our responsibilities are limited to making the booking, in line with your instructions. We do not accept responsibility for any information about the Principal that we pass onto you in good faith.
Whilst we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information published on Rural Hotels Mallorca we cannot be held responsible for any errors, omissions or changes that may have occurred. All recommendations, opinions expressed and prices regarding properties and/or destinations displayed on Rural Hotels Mallorca are provided for guidance only. Services and facilities can be withdrawn at short notice and we do not accept any liability for the descriptions given. Our reviews have been written in good faith and are subjective; individual opinions may differ.
You are responsible for ensuring that your booking is appropriate for you and any other members of your booking.

Complaints
Because the contract for your accommodation is between you and the Principal, any queries or concerns should be addressed to them. If you have a problem during your trip, this must be reported to the Principal immediately. If you fail to follow this procedure there will be less opportunity for the Principal to investigate and rectify your complaint. If you wish to complain when you return home, you should address your complaint to the Principal.

Liability
We are an agent of each of the Principals to the extent that we may charge a deposit or recover cancellation charges on behalf of a Principal, in accordance with the Principal's terms and conditions. We do not accept liability for any loss or damage or other sum or claim of any nature whatsoever which arises, directly or indirectly, in connection with this website including, for the avoidance of doubt and not by way of limitation, any use of any information or material contained in this website or any inability to access or use this website.
However, in the event that we are found liable to you on any basis whatsoever, our maximum liability to you is limited to 15% of the total accommodation cost. All exclusions of liability apply only to the extent permitted by law.
