Overview
Welcome to the Hotel Apartament Sa Tanqueta, the ideal place to enjoy a relaxing holiday far away from the crowds. The hotel is situated in an exceptional position, with magnificent views of the Serra de Tramuntana Mountains and its stone walled terraces of olive and orange trees, the area’s traditional produce.
The complex is made up of 14 fully equipped apartments, where you can enjoy all the comforts of home along with personal service. They consist of a lounge-diner, with an integral kitchen, and 11 of the apartments have a terrace (between 10 and 40 m2) with magnificent mountain views.
Each of the 14 apartments has air conditioning/warm air heating, a telephone and Wi-Fi connection, satellite television and a safe. The one bedroom apartments are approximately 60 m2 in area, and the two bedroom apartments are approximately 75 m2. In addition, one apartment is adapted for people with disabilities. There are also the additional benefits of the communal facilities, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
There is a large swimming pool in which to refresh yourself, which has a large terrace for sunbathing from where you can enjoy the view of the surrounding countryside.

Just to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sa Tanqueta and loved Fornalutx. It was exactly what we hoped for ( but better) and the setting was perfect. It is a really charming village which we really took to. It was our first visit to Mallorca and I’m sure that we will visit again in the future.

Fornalutz was a great venue for both the village (shops and restauarants) and the mountain walking.
Banyalbufar also lovely with a bit less to do in and around the village but the seaside location was peaceful.

Would you recommend the hotel to a friend? ST yes, JD'A not unless you don't mind a tiny pool area and very confined garden space with little chance of privacy. Fornalutx is a hugely pretty village with some really good restaurants. Arta is not so beautiful and although it has many restaurants the standard is more cafe/bistro style food.

Sa Tanqueta is a delightful apartment hotel in a lovely village . apartment are well furnished and with views of the mountains from the balcony and terrace what’s not to like.
Staff are wonderful and Mabel the manager can’t do enough to make your stay enjoyable. Special mention for Otto and lady who waits at breakfast whose name sadly we didn’t get whose friendly and efficient service was outstanding

We had a lovely holiday thank you. All three hotels were fabulously in their own way offering different experiences, so thank you for suggesting trying more than one hotel.
All staff were super friendly, all hotels were really clean.
We will definitely travel back to Majorca in the near future and just hope we pick a time with more favourable weather.

Sa Tanqueta was perfect - exactly what we like! The manager and staff were charming and helpful. We had breakfast which was very good (particularly the fresh orange juice). The views from our private terrace are spectacular and the apartment itself was stylish and very comfortable. The setting is stunning isn’t it? All in all it was a fantastic few days. We enjoyed FOrnlutx and I had booked a fantastic restaurant weeks ahead & the other evenings we ate well. Rural Hotels and you particularly Henrik were incredibly efficient and helpful ! You really need a car to stay here. Otherwise you have to eat in the evening at the hotel But the taxi service we used was extremely quick and reliable.
Lovely attentive staff in both and we enjpyed chatting to the owner of SC who was on site most of the time.

The reasons for the 4s are .. it does work out more expensive than a Villa and the 2nd bed downstairs was lumpy and uncomfortable.
A couple of suggestions , firstly regarding drinking water . This was not always available especially when no staff around .. A large dispensar in the foyer or dining room at all times would have been good …
Also again re tea and coffee .. good when staff around but not really available otherwise.
However neither of rhe above would prevent me staying there again . All the staff were super friendly and efficient. The food was super fresh and local and value for money .

Booking Policy
Credit card details and a 15% deposit (refunded if cancelled more than 14 days before arrival) taken from your card at the time of your booking. Remaining amount to be paid to the hotel during your stay.
Cancellation Policy
FREE cancellation 14 days or more before arrival and deposit is refunded
Canceling between 13 and 1 days before arrival: 75% of the total stay is charged with a minimum of 1 night.
If cancelled or modified later or in case of No-Show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Should Travel restrictions be implemented on either side (Spain or Home Country) that stop you from travelling (lockdown or Mallorca on the "red" list), this policy will not apply, and no charges will be made.
