HOTELS

We had a lovely holiday thank you. All three hotels were fabulously in their own way offering different experiences, so thank you for suggesting trying more than one hotel.

All staff were super friendly, all hotels were really clean.

We will definitely travel back to Majorca in the near future and just hope we pick a time with more favourable weather.

If you’d like a more hotel focused opinion please send emails for each hotel. But, I think I’ve covered them well above.

Kind regards

Hi henrik

Thanks for your help. Pls see our comments below.
We had a lovely stay here. The pool was great (better than the photo) as was the food. It is a small finca so they cannot accommodate any changes that you may want. But overall we had a good stay and the restaurant, service and views were great.

How would you rate the following from 1-5 where 5 is the best rating:
Service: 4
Food: 4
Cleanliness: 4
Value for money: 4
Sleep quality: 3

Would you recommend the hotel to a friend? Yes

Hi Henrik, We had a lovely holiday thank you.  Both hotels were beautiful, we are so pleased with the two holidays we have booked through you we recommend you to everyone!  Our friends the Stoddards are there now following our recommendation to use you. Both El Encinar and Son Terrassa I would rate 5 for everything.  Loved both of them and would highly recommend them.  Wasps were a bit of a problem at El Encinar but that was more than made up for by the lovely Dolores and her rice pudding/orange marmalade.  Our only slight criticism would be the rule for quiet time by the pool between 2-5pm.  I understand this is something that happens in these types of hotels but it would be good to know that before booking as we would prefer to stay in hotels that didn’t have this rule.  We arrived hot and tired after our journey to Mallorca and were shouted at by a German couple for using the swimming pool during these times, children don’t really understand why! Couldn’t fault the service and cleanliness and the views were breathtaking. Thank you again for all your help.

Hi Henrik, Oh yes, that was a very nice stay @son terassa! The green oasis near Cas Concos was the best stay on Mallorca we’ve experienced. Very nice Finca and beautiful view over the Island. Always a fresh breeze, good clean pool, no problem with overcrowded chairs and “towel reservation” My two little girls had a good time at the pool. Very friendly personnel, always helpful. The food was just stunning… for breakfast we had a rich variety of local products, cheese, and meat, bread, olives etc etc. Fresh fruits and fruit juice from the own garden ! No worries when you arrive a little late, there was always enough. The Dinner (a la card, or daily new fresh surprises), was each time a gourmet highlight! Always fully booked out by external guests, but if you reserve in the morning you will have a nice seat guaranteed to watch the sun go down each evening… To the ratings: Service: 5, Food: 5+  Hihi, Cleanliness: 5, Value for money: 5, Sleep quality: 5 good beds, airco installed. Would you recommend the hotel to a friend? Yes. Hopefully the place will remain “small” as it is, because it has not so many hotel guests At the same time. It has this super family touch. We’re looking forward to come back! Cheers

Dear Henrik, We did enjoy our holiday at the two hotels thank you, here is our feedback of the hotels: Son Terrassa: Service 9/10, cleanliness 9/10, food 8/10, value 8/10, sleep quality 6/10, ditto bed a bit hard  Pool v nice, a lot of Germans there, we were the only Brits Mar I Vent: Superb position, service 7/10, cleanliness 10/10, food 5/10 (breakfast particularly poor in our view), value 7/10, sleep quality 6/10 (bed a bit hard)  Pool area crowded and small Would recommend both hotels to friends depending on what they wanted. The views at Mar I Vent were first class, we found the  owner slightly  like Basil Fawlty, he tried very hard to please though.  The local restaurant over the road was superb, the best meal we had during our trip. Hope this helps.
