Close to the virgin coves and white beaches of southeast Mallorca you will find Hotel Migjorn. Hi Henrik, Sorry for the delay. We had a great holiday. Please find my feedback below. We had a great time. The only minor things I think would be very beneficial to families staying in future (particularly those with young kids) would be to have self-serve coffees and teas in the morning for tired parents (kids get up a long time before official breakfast starts!) and some dry cereal and milk for hungry kids to eat at 6/7am before proper breakfast would have been really helpful. Also, I was quite shocked that a single load of washing in the washing machine cost €18 - kids are messy! I think €5 would be much family-friendlier. Dear Henrik, we had a lovely stay at hotel Migjorn! Service: 5, Food: 4, Cleanliness: 5, Value for money: 4, Sleep quality: 4. yes I would definitely recommend this hotel to another family/friend. we felt very welcomed and Pieter and his wife very very helpful. We found a gem in Maiorca where the kids are more than welcome, everybody is very friendly and the atmosphere and the food are very good. The lunches and dinner were amazing, I gave a 4 and not a 5 for the breakfast because there were not many fresh baked/made/ healthy products and also the serrano ham came out of a plastic bag from the supermarket, was not freshly cut. Room was very spacious and cosy. Furniture is somewhat old, but still OK. we would love to go back! thank you again for helping us find this spot, greetings,

Hi Henrik,Yes, we had a lovely holiday thanks! Hotel-Migjorn was lovely. The service, food and general ambience at the hotel were wonderful. Two things that would make it even better: Black-out blinds in the bedroom for the children (our lounge had them but not the bedroom). And a softer mattress...the bed was nice and big but the mattress was too hard. As sleep was the number one priority a more comfortable bed would have been the icing on the cake! Hi Henrik, We had a great stay. The “3” for sleep quality reflects us having a 3 year old and a 5 month old in the room with us. An oasis for families to stay that is close to beautiful beaches and towns. The staff and facilities were top notch. Dear Henrik, We are very pleased with our stay at Migjorn. Small family friendly hotel its what we expected. We are thinking to come back next year and staying in a similar type of hotel. This hotel is not only a luxurious place to stay in Mallorca, it has the added benefit to be very child friendly, a perfect combination which you can't find in a lot of places. WE won't hesitate to return, but I would have liked the food to be a little better. We had a great time! Es Trenc is close which is really convenient, the pool was warm and the Salamanders were active. We really liked the terrace in the accommodation, it was large and private. We also liked the food, but we felt it could have been more Mallorcan. The wine they've gotten a hold of was really great. The staff did a great job cleaning, serving food and were really helpful. In all this place is great for families with small kids and the playing area close to the dining area is a success! Hi Henrik, No problem - see below. The hotel is well placed for Es Trenc beach, but not for eating out - you have to drive everywhere else. The food in the hotel was pretty basic and we only ate there on the first night - but not again as the meal was average (and not cheap!). If you don't want to be around families and children, then it's not recommended - but it does cater well for them. The room was a good size - we were in room 3 - it was a little 'tired' and needed updating - especially the bathroom. It lacked the 'luxury' I was expecting that I've had with other places in Majorca. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We won't be going back because I kept comparing it to C'an Quatre in Soller - which was truly amazing last year!
