Dear Henrik We are very happy with our stay in Mallorca  the three hotels that you recommended us are marvelous. CA’S XORX is perhaps more eceptionnel because it combines the natural setting of the mountain, the design sophistication, the quality of service and the excellent table FINCA SON MAS is also a magical place but we must accept the discretion of the service. the staff is very nice but not enough present. the catering service is to simple. our trip, north and south, allowed us a clear view of the island in its geographical complexity. In Palma, we enjoyed PALAU SA FONT. simpler, less expensive but good location and very nicely managed by a young team (excellent breakfast). therefore, everything is very positive for us and we thank you. for information, we had a wonderful cruise on a catamaran which allowed us to tour the island. thank you  sincerely yours

The setting was very pretty & quiet. The town Fornalutx was beautifully kept and the staff in the restaurants were very friendly. The service at the hotel was excellent and personal. As there was no service during the day it would have been great to have tea making facilities. How would you rate the following from 1-5 where 5 is the best rating:  Service: 5 Food: 5 Cleanliness: 4 Value for money: 4 Sleep quality: 5 Would you recommend the hotel to a friend? YES

Hello Henrik, Thanks for your email.  We would rate the hotels we stayed at as follows: Cas Xorc Service - 5 Food - 4 Cleanliness - 5 Value for money - 4 Sleep quality - 5 We loved the hotel and have and will recommend it. The food was very good but expensive compared to similar quality restaurants in Soller. On the whole, we throughly enjoyed staying at these hotels and will almost certainly stay again. Best wishes.

Dear Henrik, We had a pleasant holiday thanks. Service: 2 Far from the most attentive that I have experienced, particularly at breakfast; frankly below par given the price. Food: 4 Cleanliness: 4 Value for money: 3 Sleep quality: 5 Would you recommend the hotel to a friend? I would but with the proviso that it does not seem to deliver the standard of service expected for the price. Many thansk for your help in making the reservation. Overall we had a lovely time. Regards,

Dear Henrik, I apologize for not writing sooner, I have been quite busy with traveling. Our stay was wonderful, so wonderful that we both fell in love with Mallorca and decided last week to have our May 25th 2013 wedding there!!! I would rate Cas Xorc a five on everything! From the moment we arrived at the Hotel we fell in love with it’s charm and loved the fact that it felt more like a private home than a hotel. The grounds are wonderful and so romantic. The staff were kind and helpful, friendly and always seemed willing to go the extra mile. All the little touches made it so special, I guess it’s aplce that you just never forget… So, Thank you Henrik for recommending Cas Xorc to us!!! Have a lovely day!!

Overview

Ca’s Xorc is much more than a country hotel, it is a special haven nestled in the mountains of Sóller with over 200 years history in the walls.

The 12 individually furnished rooms combine the latest comforts with the charm of past times. Every room is unique, finished with a blend of traditional Mallorcan architecture and decorative elements from Morocco. All rooms are equipped with satellite TV, air-conditioning, heating, mini bar, safe, telephone, fluffy bathrobes, daily fresh fruit, internet connection as well as free WIFI spots in the common areas.

The stunning pool and jacuzzi are set among olive groves and will induce total relaxation with fabulous views over the Sóller Valley.

The restaurant of Ca’s Xorc offers fine Mediterranean creations and guests can choose to dine sitting around the old mill-stone in the antique olive press , in the dining room at a large wooden table (both rooms provide a large cosy fireplace during colder days), or on one of the terraces from which one can enjoy the breathtaking views over the mountains and the valley of Sóller till the horizon, where the sky slips quietly into the sea. Ca’s Xorc’s cuisine is a blend of traditional Mallorcan and Mediterranean cuisine using the freshest products the local markets have to offer.
