Thank you for recommending the Hotel Bahia in Puerta Pollensa. We had a lovely restful week there from October 2nd to the 9th. The service was excellent, efficient and friendly. The restaurant staff were particularly attentive, as we ate there every night. The room was cleaned every day to a high standard and towels replaced, so 5 for service. The breakfast which was self service was very good, especially the fresh fruit and pastries and the restaurant served snacks at lunchtime, though these were quite substantial! You could sit under the trees on the Pine Walk next to the beach for drinks too. The food at night was excellent from a very good menu— recommend the salt cooked fish!! 5 for food. Cleanliness 5 It was expensive but quite exclusive and in a prime position on the bay with a beach, so worth paying more. 4 Our room was good and we had a balcony overlooking the bay. Very comfortable bed. The air conditioning was rather fierce but you could have have heating which was good on colder Autumn nights. So 5 for sleep quality. The only downside to the hotel was that we had to park our hire car a couple of streets away. You needed to be able bodied to walk with luggage but there was a back door to use which perhaps should be mentioned by the hotel.
Yes we would recommend the hotel to friends and it would be good to go there as a group, as it seemed quite a lot of people were doing. And we found many who had been going back for years! Most of a certain age like us!!
