HOTELS

Henrik

Thank you so much for all the support you have given us over our recent holiday.  We absolutely loved Son Brull and will return there many times over the coming years I think!  What a heavenly hotel and so well run.  Faultless.  So very happy Marsden family here.

Also the car rental company, once we got our heads around the rather unusual concept, was brilliant.

Can you do me a favour .. we have stayed at La Residentia, Deia in the past and I just wanted to do a price compare … could you if at all possible let me know what our four days might have cost at La Residentia?  I think Son Brull will come out as very reasonable by comparison.

Best wishes

My husband and I and two adult daughters have just returned from four magical days at Son Brull, Pollenca.

The hotel has a pared down simplicity which provides a wonderfully cool and calm interior inside and out.  It has been very sympathetically restored in keeping with its fascinating history and the infinity pool provides a wonderful focus from which to absorb the beautiful Mallorcan countryside stretching into the distance.  We cannot fault this hotel.  The service was impeccable and delivered with a professional warmth and attention to detail.  The hotel is scrupulously clean … our rooms had huge bathrooms which provided everything you might wish for or had forgotten at home!

The bed rivalled my own wonderful bed at home.

Nothing was too much trouble.  Breakfast was wonderful, the lunch and the evening bistro menus were varied and completely delicious.

What more can I say.  The bikes on hire were in tip top condition, the spa provided a welcome refuge from the hot sun (the ice pool was a regular retreat in the afternoon!), Pollenca is on the door step as are a number of coves.  We did not go very far afield due to time and heat and indeed because we couldn’t bear to tear ourselves away from Son Brull for too long!

I would go so far as to say this hotel is one of a few 5* hotels I have been fortunate enough to have visited that does indeed give true value for money.

Thank you Henrik at Rural Hotels for recommending this hotel to us and answering my ‘holiday brief’ so expertly!

Hi Henrik,

Every category was a 5.

I’ve just written on Tripadvisor and mentioned your company.

You were extremely helpful in helping me find the hotel. A superb choice. I won’t hesitate in using your company again.

Yes we had a super time and I’d score both hotels very high and recommend both to friends.

If you are looking for things to improve I would say the breakfast at the first hotel was better than the second.  The second was clearly a lot more expensive but definitely worth it for the time we spent there.

We’ll let you know if we are returning!

Best

Good evening Henrik, I'm so sorry for the late reply. We returned from a fantastic time in Mallorca to hit the ground running and have barely stopped since. Firstly, thank you so much for the gifts you had placed in our rooms, on arrival at Font Santa and on leaving Son Brull. It was a lovely touch and  we were (are) most grateful. As with our previous trips to Mallorca, the hotels you selected were superb in every aspect. Font Santa, Sa Pedrissa and Can Simonetta are all, of course, familiar to us and never disappoint. Son Brull, as a new hotel to us, exceeded our expectations and more than stood alongside the other three hotels. We enjoy moving between hotels and locations as each has it's own character and environment; salt marsh and broad skies, mountain views and coastal coves, clifftop views and sweeping vineyards. What, however, they all have in common is superb food and outstanding service. At every hotel the staff can literally not do enough for you. They are friendly and helpful, yet are unobtrusive. From front of house to housekeeping, we were always greeted cheerfully, with a smile. Another outstanding example of the superb service; if the menu on any evening didn't suit us, the chefs would prepare an alternative selection especially for us even, on one occasion, without any notice. There is no escaping the fact that the hotels and their restaurants are expensive, but it's it's an expense worth paying and one that we shall definitely be paying again soon. We also have not and will not have any hesitation in recommending the hotels and your services to all our friends and family. We'll be back! Kind regards

Henrik, Thanks for organising Son Brull for us. The hotel was fantastic and we had a great stay and just wish we could have stayed longer. The staff were very helpful, the food was superb, we loved the infinity swimming pool and decking and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. It was a memorable last night to what had already been a great holiday. We would give 5/5 to everything, though it is pricey so maybe a 4/5 for that…but we are not complaining! Regards,
