Hi Henrik
We had a very nice break thank you, notwithstanding filling out forms and arranging Covid tests! But I guess that’s the only way to travel at the moment!
We liked the Hermitage but found it slightly impersonal - the building is beautiful of course but the set up was a little too ‘hotel-like’ for our taste albeit very spacious and clean. We did not like the memory foam mattress- too hot! Consequently didn’t sleep very well. The balcony area didn’t offer privacy either although there was no occupant next door until our last night.
The service was very good and the staff helpful; the food was good but not exceptional. Fresh orange juice for breakfast would have been nice rather than out of a carton; after all we were in the land of oranges!
Overall I would rate it mostly 4s. Value -wise slightly overpriced. But we appreciated being able to be accommodated at the last minute so thank you for that!

H, We had a great time, thank you for all your help and suggestions. We liked both locations, they complemented one another. L' hermitage is wonderful, Mar i Vent was a great location, but the building was a bit tired and some of the staff a bit grumpy. Although this is opinion is partly due to the comparison with L'hermitage. We will be returning for future holidays with you.

Dear Henrik, Thank you for the mail. We had a truly lovely stay at L'hermitage.As for ratings, we would award 5 for service,value,cleanliness,sleep and probably 3/4 for food. We eat in the restaurant twice, once for lunch and once for dinner, the reception staff and the housekeeping staff were outstanding, amongst the loveliest people we have ever met, and we are in the hotel business. The restaurant staff were not of the same calibre. We would recommend the hotel and will return. Thank you for all your help. Best,
