HOTELS

We really enjoyed our stay, the service, food, value for money and sleep quality were all 5.
Cleanliness of all areas was also high the only negative was that there were two cats that used to hang around the dining area when people were eating and on occasion one in particular would jump onto the table once a person had left their chair, but was going to return to the table.
I may be biased as I can’t stand cats but from a hygiene point of view we found this unacceptable.
I did point this out to the hotel in my questionnaire and also suggested some seating in the shade.
The food and staff were excellent.

Hi Henrik, Our stay at Monnaber Bell was absolutely lovely.  Definitely a 5 rating. The room and bathroom were to a very high standard and the service was spot on - all the ladies working in the restaurant were lovely.  We ate all meals at the hotel and could not fault the choice and service.  No problem having to choose supper food in advance.  Really good choice for my daughter who is vegetarian and they also had wide vegan options. We have stayed in quite a few similar rural hotels - this one is very special as it has elements of a boutique hotel but still keeping the rustic charm. We would recommend this hotel and would love to return. Best regards

Hi Henrik, Please see scores below.  In relation to general comments, I really liked both the hotels. Monnaber Vell was in a beautiful setting.  The service was a bit hit and miss around the pool and the cleaning service in the bedroom was poor but the pool area is beautiful. So relaxing and there are great walks in the area. Also, our bathroom was great. Food was pretty good but not great. Re Son Bernadinet, the pool area is a little tired and there is no service for drinks as such.  You have to go in and get someone. The chill out lounge by the pool is lovely, the rooms are good and the beds super comfortable.  Food at this hotel was excellent. I thought both places were a little understaffed but all in all we have a fantastic holiday, thanks for organising again.

Hi Henrik, We had an amazing holiday, thank you so much.  It was probably the loveliest hotel and location we have ever stayed in! The hotel is sympathetically restored from original farm buildings, and has been decorated simply, giving a spacious, light and airy feel.  Our room was huge with such a comfortable large bed. The food was excellent, much taken from the hotel's own farm and vegetable garden, and is fresh and delicious.  What can I say about the infinity pool - such a quiet and relaxed setting, with amazing views to the valleys and Tramuntana mountains.  An excellent, relaxing holiday of real quality.  No fuss! How would you rate the following from 1-5 where 5 is the best rating:  Service: 4 Food: 4 Cleanliness: 5 Value for money: 4 Sleep quality: 5 Would you recommend the hotel to a friend? Yes, definitely

Cant fault Monnaber Vell at all. Peace and tranquillity, no hassle. Rate everything as excellent. Only criticism no drinks service at poolside. No member of staff ever came around to ask if anybody wanted anything. For British guests it is very German based with English being 3rd language for most of the staff. Not a problem for us . We would certainly go back again

I would just like to say how delighted we were with our 3 nights at the Monnaber Vel hotel in Campanet this August.  Such a beautiful, relaxed and friendly hotel.  We absolutely loved it there - Patricia in reception is a warm and helpful member of the staff and makes it feel as if you are staying in someone's home.  We would recommend this hotel to our friends and family and indeed we are!!!!  We can't wait to go back there ourselves.
