A perfect unassuming hotel, with wonderfully well trained, friendly staff who really looked after us. Hugs all round when we left to all who were on duty at 7am!

Lovely pool, attentive staff for drinks and water ices! Only 5 minutes walk away from a nice bay. Probably a bit crowded at height of season. Near a few shops and restaurants, but we mostly ate in, a bit of a repetitive menu.

Transfer company very efficient, airport the same, passport control worked in and out. Security relatively painless and again efficiently run.

We would score all of the categories below a 5. 
Our only comment would be that (as good as the food was) the chef's specials for Dinner were often just a small tweak from the normal menu and this was a lost opportunity to provide something 'special/local/regional' etc.

Yes we would recommend the hotel.

For us, we really just wanted to 'fly and flop'. The hotel provided a beautiful and tranquil setting for us to relax and essentially do nothing. We were in room 110, which we suspect might be the best room in the hotel. The views from many of the other rooms would not have been so attractive.

Thanks for everything in organising our holiday to Mallorca. We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Cala san Vincenc and would definitely recommend it. We are hoping to return next year with friends.

In terms of the categories we would give 5 for all of them. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, particularly in the various lovely communal areas, and spotlessly clean. The staff were incredibly helpful, efficient and welcoming - we immediately felt at home there and well looked after. The food was delicious, in particular the fantastic breakfast spread, which had a fantastic buffet selection as well as a choice of hot food and drinks. We loved the extra touch of freshly squeezed orange juice being brought to the table as soon as we arrived each morning. The morning and afternoon sorbets around the pool were another lovely treat and the pool itself with the beautiful planting around it was idyllic. We didn't mind the hotel being slightly away from the sea front as it felt very tucked away and peaceful and the beaches were just a short walk away. All in all a perfect stay!

Thanks again for recommending this lovely hotel. The hotel transfer service was also very efficient and clean.

I just wanted to thank you for recommending the above hotel for my step daughter and I.
It has fitted the bill perfectly, so friendly, understated and well run.

We had an amazing time on holiday thank you for asking. The hotel was exactly as you had recommended, peaceful and rural just as we had asked. The staff were exceptional, nothing too much trouble and so very friendly. On arrival we were given a room upgrade to a junior suite which was a very nice surprise and most welcome.

The food was of a very high standard, the cleanliness wonderful as was the service. The hotel was on a very easy bus route so traveling around the island was very easy, in air conditioned buses, which was very much needed as the temperatures reached 40 degrees whilst we were there.

The company you used for our transfer were wonderful, very reliable and prompt, taking the stress out of all of that for us. Their cars immaculate and air conditioned. Our flight out was delayed and then the bags took forever to come off the plane so we didn't meet the driver in arrivals until 50 minutes later than thought, but he was happy to see us, had parked very near the exit and whisked us off with no issues at all.

The staff are very friendly and help while also leaving you enough space to relax. The pool is so refreshing for a day laying in the sun! The location of the town is perfect, a couple of restaurants in walking distance but also just a short bus ride to both Pollenca and Port Pollence, couldn’t have asked for more!

It was clean and very attractive, with a really nice pool area surrounded by pretty flowering bushes with tables where you can sit close to the pool when having a rest from the sun. The staff were brilliant, extremely helpful and friendly and the food, which was available all day, was good - breakfast was excellent, best ive had in a hotel in ages. Would highly recommend Hotel Cala

Thank you for this transfer. Much appreciated and it worked a treat.

We had a splendid week. Both places were spot on. It was a bit of a shock to find that Hotel Cala Sant Vincenc was right in the middle of a built up area (considering you describe yourselves as ‘Rural Hotels Mallorca’!) but it didn’t matter one iota as their immaculately kept gardens made it a bit of an oasis of tranquillity. The staff were unbelievably friendly, the meals excellent and the proximity to beaches, walks and shops a joy. In fact the beaches were so crowded we opted to stay put at the hotel’s sumptuous infinity pool (which was certainly not overcrowded) and swam in an almost empty sea before breakfast. 

Cas Sant was a cut above. Jaime, Rafa and their team again so friendly and helpful, nothing was a bother to them. Another, huge this time, oasis of tranquility, with the two pools a luxury that we took full advantage of. Our room was in the relatively new modern block at the back and was spacious and comfortable, with particularly good shower. It helped that there was a terrace both front and back so you could opt for sun or shade … it was very hot so the latter was mostly needed. The breakfasts were something else - an array of fruits, juices, yoghurts, meats, cheeses, croissants, toast, marmalade mostly all home-made, brought to the table with a cooked option to boot if you wanted. You needed one of the local walks or a trip to the Port and beaches to work it off! Rafa kindly booked our evening restaurants all of which were excellent, especially the tapas bar Can Pintxo, and the walk into Soller easy if a shade longer than advertised - 10/15 minutes to reach the parts you needed. 

All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. Thank you for all your help in setting it up.

We had a very good holiday and liked both hotels very much.   The staff in both were excellent as was the cleanliness.   Breakfasts in both were good and the meals we had at Costa D’Or we’re on the whole good although they do tend to overdo the salt. We didn’t have an evening meal at Cala San Vicente.  As far as value for money goes I think Cal San Vicente was probably better  as the room was a very good size and the one we had had a very nice balcony.   We much appreciated having the upgrade at Costa D’Or because having the balcony with mountain view was infinitely preferable to having only an upper window opening which we would have had with our original booking,  I would not have been quite so happy about, so many thanks for organising that for us.   I think the Costa D’Or is quite expensive given the size of the rooms, but it has an amazing position which is lovely,  as is the pool.
I think we would certainly recommend both to friends.

Hotel Cala is a little gem of a hotel if you're looking for a quiet, small place to have a relaxing break. Not a huge town but we went to a couple of very good restaurants (Modesto was excellent) and there was a convenience store near by. We hired a car and went out and about but the pool area is a little haven of tranquility if you want to chill and there’s a couple of small beaches a short walk away. Would certainly return as hotel staff were so accommodating.

Dear Henrik, Yes thank you we had a fabulous time at the Hotel Cala Sant Vincent, although feels like a distant memory already! Service: 4, Food: 5, Cleanliness: 5, Value for money: 5, Sleep quality: 5. We would definitely recommend the hotel to our friends and indeed, already have! Henrik, you did an amazing job in finding us a venue that completely fulfilled our request for a quiet boutique hotel with lovely swimming pool and walkable to beach and restaurants. Although the menu was limited, the food in the hotel was very good and the staff was very helpful - we loved the noon and five pm sorbet by the pool every day!  The three beaches were very close and walkable, although busy,  however, we were there during the school summer holidays so to be expected. We would certainly return to the Hotel Cala Sant Vincent we felt very much at home and completely rested by the end of our holiday. Hi Henrik, We got home from a wonderful holiday in Mallorca a couple of weeks ago.  We are happy to give you some feedback of the two hotels we stayed at. 2.  Hotel Cal San Vicenc.  A very good hotel, but not so keen on the location.  The little bays were lovely, but the town has been spoilt by some huge hotels which dominate the beaches.  Shame the hotel was not actually on the sea.  However:- Service - 5 - very helpful when making restaurant recommendations, advising generally. Food - 5 - we ate in for dinner twice.  On both occasions the food was excellent.  (Also ate at 3 very good restaurants within walking distance).  Breakfast was good - fairly predictable hotel buffet., Cleanliness - 5, Value for money - 4 (only because of location), Sleep quality - 5 We enjoyed visiting Pollenca and also the Port.  A high spot was a 3 hour boat trip round the coast. We did not have a car.  However, we found the public transport system (local buses), and the train/tram (in Soller) very efficient, and the buses were very good value.  You had to be aware of the timetable because they were not very frequent, but this was not too difficult!  Also taxis were readily available, and not too expensive - all regulated. 1.  Can Quatre, Soller.   We really loved this hotel, and Soller generally.:- Service was excellent - 5, Food - we only had dinner in the hotel on one occasion.  No choice of menu.  Most guests ate out, so you were likely to be eating either alone, or with one or two others.  However, the food was good.  Apart from the menu, very good snack meals were available, both for dinner and during the day (the best gazpacho ever!).  Breakfast certainly rated a 5., Cleanliness - 5, Value for money 5, Sleep quality 5 We would have quite liked tea making facilities in our room (in both hotels). It was a good 25 minute walk into the centre of town, which sometimes felt quite arduous - especially if we were doing it more than once a day. Loved the old town of Soller, the train to Palma, and the tram to the Port. We enjoyed a couple of evenings in the Port, a day trip to Valdemossa, and a day in Palma.  Also a walk to Fornalutz. If we return to Mallorca (on try Menorca) we will certainly consult you again. Many thanks for your help

Henrik, It was very good we enjoyed it. Service and cleanliness were excellent. They catered well for my wife's gluten allergy at breakfast. We did not eat dinner in the hotel but the breakfasts were very good however, the Snack menu and Room Service menu and quality were very average. They insisted on playing ear piecing unpleasant music in the restaurant and it played on a loop, very annoying and unnecessary. We would go back to the hotel though. Thank you Henrik

Hello Henrik, We had a lovely time. Excellent place for relaxing break, area very quiet but 4 or 5 restaurants available each night. Had superior room which was large and had great balcony, the hotel went the extra mile on little things which made it a great place to stay. Early check in, free small pots of sorbet at delivered at poolside to keep you cool, we had a early check out so coffee croissant and juice delivered to our room ( perfectly presented) at 6am. Hi Henrik, We had a great holiday and thank you for booking the Cala Sant Vicenc at such short notice.  You ur recommendation was spot on in terms of proximity to the beautiful beaches and also the comfort of the hotel. I had no idea that Mallorca was such a wonderful island. We will definite be returning - perhaps earlier in the season when it's a bit cooler as we would love to explore the mountains and interior a bit more. So we will be back in touch and certainly recommending you to our friends. Please see feedback below. The hotel was a beautiful oasis in a quiet backstreet of Cala Sant Vicenc. The drive from the main road through the countryside with the backdrop of the mountains was stunning.  However Cala Sant Vicenc, the place in my opinion has been spoilt by 2 or 3 large hotels being built right on the water front. So it's a busy little place. The beaches however were only 5 minutes walk from the hotel and were fantastic - great for swimming and snorkelling with beautiful turquoise water, but very crowded especially at the weekends. The hotel itself was lovely  - a beautiful pool and gardens and a perfect place to relax after the frenetic activity on the beach.  Our room was very comfortable indeed, tastefully  furnished as was the entire hotel which I suspect was a hangover from when it was a Relais and Chateaux. The staff were very friendly and extremely attentive and the bar well stocked - great Majorcan G & T's!  The only criticism I have is the restaurant and outdoor patio and eating area. As it looks over the road, with no screening, so it felt at times a bit like eating in a car park! The breakfast choice was superb and lunch by the pool was excellent. We decided to take half board and the dinners on the whole were excellent if at times a little inconsistent, particularly around presentation and portion size. I would recommend the hotel with the caveat that its not a quiet beachside village, but where is these days....How would you rate the following from 1-5 where 5 is the best rating: Service: 5, Food: 4,leanliness: 5, Value for money: 4, Sleep quality: 5Kind regards

Hi Henrik, We had a wonderful stay, I rate the holiday a 5. Perfect place to relax, the service, food and hotel perfect. I will definitely  recommend to friends, however, what attracted me to the hotel was the 'no children policy' which I believe will change soon....... A lot of customers  who are regulars stated that they would be reluctant to book if children are allowed to stay when it's not term time..... Dear Henrik, Thank you - we had a super holiday apart from the problems with the rooms. In terms of feedback: Service 5 Food 4 Cleanliness 5 Value for money 3 Sleep quality 3 I would recommend the hotel to a friend but I would strongly suggest they are very specific about what size of room they require. The first room we were given was very small.  We discovered during the night that our air-con was not working.  Unfortunately, the main generator of the hotel was on the terrace directly outside our room which was so noisy we were unable to sleep with our doors (which opened onto the terrace) open.  We were moved to an even smaller room on the second night where we remained for the rest of our stay.  Before showing me the room, the manager, told me we had been upgraded to a 'superior room'.  Mmm...I don't think so!! I had thought that we may have been given some form of discount for the inconvenience of moving rooms but it was not forthcoming.  My sister-in-law is planning to take her elderly mother to the hotel in September.  Neither of the rooms we were allocated would be suitable for them. Our room was very comfortable with a great balcony and views of the pool with a backdrop of beautiful mountains and sea. I would not hesitate in recommending this as a perfect getaway. I would rate Hotel Cala as a 5 being the highest mark, for each of the following: Service, Food, Cleanliness, Value for money, Sleep quality.My elderly mum and I stayed for a week and were beautifully looked after. The Reception staff were always on hand to advise or help in any way they could. The waiting staff were really lovely and knowledgeable at breakfast and dinner and the cleaning staff were lovely too. My mum is not very mobile and did find the steps and hills to the beaches a bit too difficult to negotiate. It was a really pretty village though and we ate some lovely meals all around which we got to by car. I highly recommend it! Best wishes,

Dear Henrik, thank you for asking about my stay and thank you for recommending this hotel. I really liked it because it was quite small and offered a private atmosphere. I felt very secure and relaxed and it was not touristy, if you know what I mean. It was exactly what I was looking for :) Concerning the beauty department: I would make the guest feel much more relaxed if they would install a warm light in the massage room insteas of this brilliant white light. It was also quite cold in there. The lady did her best to keep me warm and also offered to fetch a heater from upstairs. And, but that seems to be a general problem with buildings near the sea: it smelt a damp in the massage room which is unfortunate for a wellness area. But I had that smell also in the second hotel which was located right on the coast as well. This is the only point worth mentioning, all the rest was just perfect. Many thanks four you excellent help to make my stay a fantastic time out, Henrik. I will get back to you next time I will flight out to Mallorca. It is spotlessly clean and all the staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent with so much choice. Occasionally ate lunch and once had dinner. All good dining experiences with good food.  There is enough going on in the resort to wander out to lunch or dinner or go for a swim in one of the nearby bays, but also possible to completely switch off and relax in the calm and tranquil atmosphere of the hotel. Only a 10-minute (12euro) taxi ride into the old town or the port for a busier location, Cala San Vincente provides the option and best of both worlds.  The absence of loud music, chip shops, English pubs and bright flashing neon lights was perfect for us......but if that is what you are looking for, this side of the Island is not for you! Hi Henrik, We had a lovely stay at C all Sant Vincenc Hotel. I would rate the hotel as about a three for food and value for money. Sleep quality would be a bit lower. However, cleanliness was a four. The hotel itself was very comfortable and beautiful in the public areas of the lounges, pool and restaurant but the bedroom was rather tired and the bathroom really not that good. I might recommend the hotel to a friend who wants to spend a few very quiet days around the pool but I think the resort itself appears to have suffered somewhat from the economic turndown. For what we wanted though, it was a nice place to stay, quiet and relaxing.  Thanks for the booking, everything went perfectly. One thing though, the hotel arranged a transfer for us when we arrived and it was terribly expensive, more than55 euros more than the return taxi, which I thought rather excessive. Regards

We'd score all the points you listed as a. 5 except food which had a poor menu for dinner ( obviously not just our opinion as the restaurant was virtually empty ). Yet breakfast had a really wide selection of good quality food to suit all nationalities.  A lovely oasis of quality in a slightly rundown resort. The hotel was beautiful, and we loved our room, the general clientele were alot older than us in our late 20′s and early 30′s. The food was fantastic. Would recommend it for anyone that was looking for peace on their holiday. Service: 5 (nice unintrusive) Food: 5 Cleanliness: 3 (cobwebs in the bathroom) Value for money: 4 Sleep quality: 2 (our ceiling dripped constantly the first two nights because of the air con and no one new what to do because the manager had a day off, kept us awake all night, drip drip drip, not a good start to the stay) Would you recommend the hotel to a friend Yes.
