HOTELS

Thank you for your help with the hotel bookings for our trip to Mallorca last week and for the super tasting menu treat at Can Beneit.

A beautiful Finca in every way for us.   We were upgraded to a suite for the 4 nights with a wonderful roof terrace.  The staff were remarkable and most welcoming.  Breakfast and restaurant on the beautiful terrace with views across the gardens and mountains most relaxing and such a treat.  Opportunity for free yoga, wine tasting, trail walk and electric bikes.  We couldn’t have asked for more.  Would score 5/5.

Can Verdera although comfortable and well situated in the village of Fornalutx lacked any vibe or personality for us.  In all honesty this was largely due to the Receptionist who did the minimum.  The owner and Miguel by contrast were very accommodating and friendly at breakfast service, which was excellent.  Useful beach umbrellas in reception for guest use.

Nice pool area and garden.  Strange pool towel system in an effort to save washing them after 1 use which gave a slight youth hostel vibe.  Used water glasses were not cleared from our room on first day.

Score 3/5

Mountains and countryside beautiful. The beautiful small beaches too busy to access and the larger ones too commercial for us,  3 attempts to park in Soller old town without success!  Should have taken tram from the port.  We enjoyed our week regardless and would recommend friends take a look at your website for hotels.

Our thanks again.

Apologies I meant to get in touch on our return.

C’an Beneit gets a 5 all the way for us!

It has such an exquisitely chic, rustique elegance with a relaxed, warm & welcoming atmosphere, hosted by the most wonderful team led by Toni.  It had just the right balance of country luxury without over doing anything.

The food was outstanding, worthy of any world class Michelin chef. It was so artistically presented, we almost didn’t want to spoil the picture by eating it but when we did, every bite of every course was amazing.  Alongside the setting - a superb view from the terrace- and the attentive service from the team, every meal, including breakfast, was just a delight.

Our room was lovely with a perfect little terrace with a great view. Everything was considered for our comfort,  from the little  touches such as a lavender pouch or a personal note inviting us to yoga or merely to say they hoped we were enjoying ourselves. I have brought these postcards home as a keepsake of our stay there.

The finca is beautiful, inside and out,  immaculately kept.

We appreciated the provision of bikes to enjoy around the quiet lanes and scenic routes, giving us access to little villages. We also thoroughly enjoyed the expertise of the yoga instructor & also her knowledge of the native trees and her company on a walk.

We met some lovely people, both other guests and staff- the latter always greeted us by our name which was nice.

We would definitely recommend C’an Beneit to anyone. It has to rank highly on your and our list of stunning rural places to stay on our most favourite holiday choice of Mallorca.

Thank you once again for your assistance in finding us a special little gem. We think your personal service is fantastic. Will be in touch next time.

Bravo!

Overview

Hidden in the rolling countryside in Binibona, Finca Can Beneit is a beautifully restored manor estate that embodies the quiet charm of rural Mallorca. Surrounded by olive groves, fruit trees and panoramic views of the Tramuntana mountains, this boutique hotel offers a peaceful escape for travellers seeking luxury, nature and authentic Mallorcan hospitality.

A defining part of the experience here is Toni, the owner and manager. With years of experience working in some of the island’s top rural hotels, he brings a rare combination of warmth, professionalism and wonderfully quirky charm. Guests often comment on how his friendly manner, genuine enthusiasm and instinct for hospitality make them feel instantly at home. Now running his own hotel, Toni has poured his heart into Finca Can Beneit, creating a place that feels both deeply personal and exceptionally well run.

The estate has been thoughtfully transformed while preserving the soul of its centuries-old architecture. Stone walls, wooden beams and serene outdoor spaces blend seamlessly with elegant contemporary touches, creating an atmosphere that feels both refined and rooted in tradition. From the moment you arrive, there is a sense of calm that sets the tone for a restorative stay.

One of the standout features is Mirabona, the hotel’s slow-food restaurant. With a focus on organic, locally sourced ingredients, many harvested from the finca’s own orchards, the dining experience is a celebration of Mallorcan flavours. Guests can enjoy beautifully crafted dishes on the terrace while watching the sun dip behind the mountains, an unforgettable setting that perfectly complements the cuisine.

The rooms and suites are spacious and peaceful, each uniquely designed to highlight natural materials, soft colours and sweeping valley views. Many offer private terraces or outdoor bathtubs, creating the perfect space to unwind after a day of exploring.

The estate’s pool area is a tranquil sanctuary, framed by nature and offering uninterrupted views of the countryside. For those looking to venture out, scenic hiking and cycling trails lead directly into the Tramuntana mountains.

Finca Can Beneit captures everything we love about rural Mallorca: timeless beauty, refined simplicity and a genuine connection to the landscape. Combined with Toni’s exceptional hospitality, this is a place where guests can truly disconnect, breathe and feel wonderfully cared for.
