HOTELS

The hotel was great though - feedback below.

How would you rate the following from 1-5 where 5 is the best rating:

Service: 3 (generally very friendly, we were especially impressed with the waiter at the main pool bar! A few minor irritations e.g. we asked for a highchair in the room and we didnt get one until day 3, every night they locked the baby highchair in the kitchen and often we would have to wait for a long time for someone to unlock it and bring it out every morning for breakfast)

Food: 3. My husband and children enjoyed the poolside food and breakfast- but it was fairly basic. Really dissapointed that they couldnt cater for coeliacs and wouldn't allow me to take food to their restaurant (where the rest of my family would've paid to eat). We felt we missed out on a key occasion of going for family meals because of this. They provided me with pre packaged gluten free breakfast foods, but again the service was inconsistent - some days I waited an hour to be brought one piece of gluten free bread and other days I was brought home cooked gluten free cake (which the hotel had already deemed unsafe for me). It should be straightforward to put a selection of supermarket gluten free items on a plate and bring them out each day - especially at a hotel like Monnaber.

Cleanliness: 5 (in all of resort) but 2 for the spa - which was really inconsistent with the rest of the resort and meant we did not feel inclined to use it - the hot tub was cold for the entire 10 day trip and all the edged ripped up and the floor of the spa and spa toilets and showers were always dirty

Value for money: 4

Sleep quality: 4

Would you recommend the hotel to a friend? Yes!

Would you like to write a couple of general sentences about your stay? Absolutely stunning location, feels really relaxing and was perfect for escaping the tourist crowds. The pool areas were beautifully set up and maintained and the gardens and Estate were lovely.

How would you rate the following from 1-5 where 5 is the best rating: Service: 4* I would recommend they add a bar facility eh honesty bar/snacks as there is absolutely nothing at the B&B nor anything within 15 minutes drive- would be nice to just have a drink by the pool, Food: 5, Cleanliness: 4, Value for money: 4. Sleep quality:5. Would you recommend the hotel to a friend? Yes with some comments as it is very remote with absolutely no facilities/bar/water available etc. Would you like to write a couple of general sentences about your stay? Very friendly and quiet – pool very very cold but a good number of sun loungers and nice gardens- no restaurants or bars nearby- minimum 15 minutes drive away to anything.

Hi Henrik, Hope all is well. Sorry- I've been meaning to email some feedback for a while. Agro Xarc- the family really cares and they've got the right balance between being available and giving you space. The hotel was charming.  It was a great location to travel around from and we loved Santa Eularia for restaurants. Es Cucons was beautiful.  The setting is all geared up to be relaxing, but sadly it was a disappointment for us and not worth the money. This was nothing to do with the hotel. I am sad to say that the behaviour of some of the other guests was remarkable. The hotel staff were clearly weary of being spoken to so rudely. I am sad to sad that this was by British people. I guess money is no guarantee of manners. Sounds bad- sorry to be so negative about people.  We're not perfect either, but it was uncomfortable for us. I've never experienced anything like this on a holiday before. I'm glad we've been in Ibiza but I wouldn't go back in a hurry.  B est wishes
