Mallorcan beaches: Cala Molto

Posted: Tuesday, 15th June 2021

Touring Mallorcan beaches by boat? Cala Molto is a great spot to include on your itinerary. Here you will get the best of golden sands and craggy shoreline rocks plus inviting turquoise waters. Yachts and boats commonly dot the waters of Cala Molto’s beautiful coast. Many stay to watch the sunset as night anchorage is possible when conditions are right. Just be sure to anchor a safe distance from shore as north-westerly winds, water and underwater conditions can be unpredictable.

Don’t expect a ready supply of restaurants and amenities on hand at Cala Molto. As one of the smaller, more secluded Mallorcan beaches, Cala Molto is not big on conveniences. Be sure to bring a ready supply of drinking water and any food you may want. Yet what Cala Molto lacks in facilities, it more than makes up in tranquility and beauty.

Cala Molto’s remote setting can be a great advantage if you like to sunbathe minus tan lines. Clothing is optional on this secluded Mallorcan beach. So don’t be surprised if you share the sandy shores with a naturalist or two.

Now coming by boat certainly saves you a walk to Cala Molto. But if you are not travelling by sea, Cala Molto is still within reach. Car and even your own feet can transport you to the golden shores of this stunning Mallorcan beach

After a great day soaking up some Mediterranean days on Cala Molto, you’ll want to return home to restful surrounds. Picturesque Arta village is close to hand offering several boutique hotels Mallorca. Why not consider:
