I can honestly say I think it was the nicest hotel we have ever stayed at.  The location is stunning, the hotel was beautiful, immaculately clean and all the staff, without exception, were extremely friendly and helpful.  The pool area is beautiful.  There's no need to rush down and reserve a sun lounger and no loud music blaring.  Food was fantastic.  It cost more or less what we expected it to.  We would definitely recommend it to others and would stay again although probably for no more than 3 nights as we were a little isolated (which we knew when booking).  5s all round.

Thank you for organising.  Everything went smoothly.  If and when we go back to Mallorca we would use your services again.  I will definitely mention you and your company when I leave a tripadvisor review.

We’ve given a 4 for food as we thought the evening menu was slightly limited in choices
We’ve given a 4 for value purely based on the fact that it was more expensive than the Son Julia which we enjoyed just as much, if not more.
We’ve given a 4 for sleep quality as the air-con in our room was nowhere near as efficient as the air-con in our kids’ room. The bed was incredibly comfy, it was just a little warm.

Otherwise, great hotel, and would have no issue recommending it to friends who would like the Carrossa type of set-up.

Son Julia:

Loved everything about the Son Julia (again).
The staff were very professional and at the same time very warm, relaxed and friendly 

Llucmajor is not the prettiest of towns, but we would have no problem recommending the hotel to friends. 

Other bits and bobs
We had lunch, then dinner the next day, at Son Barbassa, which was very nice.
We took the fast boat around Cabrera, snorkelled and saw the blue caves, great trip.
In Arta we ate in Cafe Parisien, and El Niu, both were great.
Unfortunately, we couldn’t get a booking at Sa Gripia, but it looked amazing.
In Llucmajor we ate in Contrabando, and Quina Brasa, both were great.

Great idea to book two hotels, we saw more of the island and the stay felt longer.

Would you like to write a couple of general sentences about your stay? We had a fantastic time, easily the best hotel we have stayed in. The quality of the hotel was as you would expect from a 5 star, the finishings were top class and loads of really nice touches. The pool and spa areas were superb and there was always plenty of space. Will definitely return.

We found having a car very helpful as otherwise it would have been hard to pop out to other places.  We really enjoyed visiting the beaches around Cala Mitjana, and also the Parc Natural de la Peninsula De Llevant.  The transfers with TopGear cars were very easy.

The hotel recommended we did not drink tap water.  Had we known we would have stopped at a supermarket on the way there - the bottled water seemed very expensive at the hotel (but then later we discovered the gym/sauna areas had big water coolers we could refill from!).  

The hotel was absolutely lovely and it was very relaxing and restorative to be there.  The room was beautiful and spacious and well-equipped.

We have had an absolutely fantastic 10 days! Both Hotels fabulous!

We loved Carrossa, Hotel beautiful, Food fabulous, Pool really lovely…..excellent….. If we were going to say anything that could be improved on it would simply be that it feels quite stark in that there are very few
Shaded, comfy areas to sit in the evening for outside drinks etc…. Once the pool area is closed there aren’t places to chill other than Bar (which is inside), Bistro or main Restaurant.

That isn’t a negative, just a comparison with Predi Son Jaumell which is more established and has that ‘Greener’ feel to it.

Predi Son Jaumell was wonderful, all the staff made us feel really special and we had their best room for the 5 nights! Fantastic!

Breakfasts as always at both places amazing, light lunches perfect with the exception (this may be a Mallorcan taste) that all Salads were dressed in extremely sweet (fruit Coulis) which was little off putting as Salad in a hot climate is the easiest thing to eat, I would have liked more options on that front. 

Rooms absolute brilliant, always immaculate and all staff wonderful, some we remember from previous visits and felt like part of the family.

We are already  wondering when to return!

Fiirst Convent de la mission in Palma was lovely. A nice room with terrace.  Very friendly staff. We had a great lunch offered by you. We would have lovend it if it had been possible to have also diner there. But I already mentioned you that the restaurant was fully booked.  So for the next time we have to notice that.

Thank you for getting in touch. I was intending on reaching out to let you know what a super holiday we had!

I will answer the questions below and also offer a few other comments here, by way of feedback. 

The hotel was perfect for us. Breathtaking scenery and views in a quiet, peaceful spot. Our Bay View suite was just what we’d hoped for -spacious and very private with it’s own stunning views. We were very happy sitting on our terrace in the shade provided.

The food at both the Bistro and the Carrossa restaurant was exceptionally good. And good value for the quality. We really enjoyed the charming and skilled service of the staff in cocktail bar. A really nice place to relax. 

We used the spa area, saunas and the excellent gym. 

If you want a totally relaxing week, away from everything, with super facilities to enjoy, the hotel and its rural location are just perfect. We visited Arta a few times for dinner and like the contrast of a quiet, local evening out.

The Bay View suite was a super and beautifully fitted. The only thing we would say is that we both found the bed too hard and difficult to sleep on. I’m not sure why hotels seem to overlook this, in my experience. 

It’s worth adding that every member of staff was charming,  professional and nothing was too much trouble. Really excellent service.

We would love to go back to Mallorca and will definitely be asking for your help finding another great spot . I’ve had a look at your website but would prefer to talk to you and get your recommendations before we plan our next holiday.
