Cala Deia Beach, West Mallorca
There aren’t many beaches on the West Coast, but this is one of the most beautiful ones. It’s not the type with miles of sand to lie on, it is more rugged with pebbles (like a British beach), so make sure you bring a chair or thick blanket to sit or lie on.
The perfectly clear and clean water more than makes up for the lack of sand though. It is pure heaven to slip into the cool sea on a hot day. There are several little rock pools to explore as well as two excellent restaurants where you can sit back and enjoy the spectacular view. Just look at that picture above for a taste!
This beach is easily accessible by foot from the village of Deia or you can drive but beware there is not much parking available, which may be a problem in the Summer months.
