When it’s time to hit the road again, your destination is Port Valldemossa. A mere 6km drive will bring you to this quiet little hamlet off the well-beaten tourist track. Take the drive nice and slow as the decent to Port Valldemossa is a single track road in some parts. Once there though, you will know the drive has all been worth it. Sunbathe on the stone harbor wall that gives way straight into the calm blue sea. Just jump off your perch and into the water should you want a cooling dip. Sand beaches aren’t big at Port Valldemossa. But the sleepy cove entails a small pebble beach with views of Mallorca’s rocky north west coast.

Port Valldemossa really is a beautiful spot away from it all. So you don’t have to worry about whiling away time deciding where to eat. Only one restaurant can be found in the port. Fetch up under the shady restaurant verandahs looking directly out to the rocky coast and sea beyond. Be sure to give the paella a try here. As you sit on the sunny terrace, this traditional flavoursome dish is the perfect tonic.
